Accutron and RedBar Group join together to celebrate horology and the watch brand’s groundbreaking success of the world’s first-ever electrostatic movement. Building on the popularity of Accutron’s new Spaceview 2020 design, which marked the brand’s official return, the two unveil a Limited Edition version (60 pieces) inspired by the collector community. Set on a stainless steel bracelet and featuring red accents on the dial and on the additional strap.

MOVEMENT

Accutron's Proprietary Electrostatic Movement. The electrostatic energy is created by twin turbines that rotate as a result of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, stored in an accumulator, powers two motors; a world’s first electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands.

Power saving function: To ensure power saving, the second hand automatically stops at 12 o'clock after 5 minutes of non activity. Your timepiece continues to keep time, the hour hand and the minute hand keep moving. When you would like to see the second hand's motion, please swing arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds. Once powered, the second hand gradually returns to the current second indication and the power save function is canceled.
