•“Tuna” is a nickname given to this design by Seiko fans and describes the can-like case shape. The original model with this nickname was a revolutionary Diver’s model, which earned over 20 patents on the outer case alone.
•The “Monster” name was given by the fans for the bold bezel and case grooves, which resemble teeth.
•These models reflect the “Antarctica” theme and the beauty created by the lives on that land and its unique landscape is expressed on the watch.
•The gradient and die-stamped patterns express the white and blue effect created by the light and ice of Antarctica and the show penguins’ footprints in the snow.
